JOIN US PAINTING IN THE HILLS OF TUSCANY

Our Tuscan Painting Holiday was a great success last Autumn and we are running another one, this time for a week from 12th - 19th September 2012 again at the beautiful Borgo di Castelvecchio, a private estate in the Val d’Orcia, Southern Tuscany, Italy. The group will again be led by inspirational Cotswold artists Chris Fothergill and David Durston – both have over 20 year's experience as professional artists and will be teaching our group. Painters of all abilities and non-painting partners are welcome. www.fothergillsgallery.co.uk.

Holiday Accommodation & Details
From Wednesday 12th - Wednesday 19th Sept 2012 includes:
Castelvecchio meals and accommodation: 7 nights B & B, plus 3 lunches and 6 dinners (excellent Tuscan menu). Transfers to and from Rome airport (designated flights), 3 local trips giving time for painting, sightseeing, lunch or dinner, personal tuition and demonstrations every day from two tutors, plus use of swimming pool and grounds.

Painting Tuition
Under the guidance of David and Chris you will be encouraged to work in whatever medium inspires you, whether it be drawing, watercolour, oils, or ‘sketch-booking’. There will be demonstrations from the tutors, and the emphasis will be on enjoying the process of painting.

There will be no lack of inspiration for creativity in the delightful surroundings of the medieval hamlet of Castelvecchio - nestling in the heart of Tuscany. Come and enjoy a wonderfully relaxing time with us whilst brushing up your painting skills!

The Price
£ 1,385.00 per person (does not include flights to and from UK). Accommodation is in single or double rooms with private facilities (NB: No single supplement charge!). All guests are welcome to opt in or out of activities to suit their holiday plans and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Borgo di Castelvecchio.

Here is just a selection of some of my holiday houses... If you do not see your dream destination on my site – it is still worth checking with me - I have been in the holiday house business now for so long my address book is bulging with good contacts.

FRANCE
This summer I went to stay in Chateau de Combecave in South West France.

A romantic 18th century hillside chateau with swimming pool, surrounded by extensive grounds and with spectacular views of the rolling Quercy countryside in south west France.

MAURITIUS
Then to Mauritius where I have some lovely beach houses which are perfect for winter and spring holidays. They all have staff and I am working with a local agent who looks after guests very well.

MOROCCO
For a hot holiday this winter I have some lovely houses in Morocco – outside Marrakech in the country yet near enough to go and explore the bazaars and sights and if you are energetic go hiking in the Atlas or spend a couple of nights in the desert - or how about an exotic Riad in Taroudant in the south of Morocco? You will enjoy being pampered in your villa - in the houses we have taken on the staff are all well trained and enjoy looking after their guests - Moroccan Holiday Properties

Rosie is going away on holidays - visiting South West France now and Mauritius in September. During her trip to France she will be staying in a lovely chateau near Moissac, which she is hoping to feature for next year and in September Rosie will be going to see her family who are now living in Mauritius. Local owners have already been in contact about renting their houses out there so Rosie will be checking them out!
